Come to one of my workshops or webinars and one key principle you’ll learn is that fear and failure are prerequisites to creating something new in your life.
That means that you will absolutely get to experience fear and you will absolutely get to experience failure.
And that’s OK.
It’s expected.
It’s normal.
Fear shows up when you step out of your comfort zone. That’s a good thing. It means you are being challenged. Failure is also a good thing. Think of it as feedback. When something doesn’t work, it gives you information to apply when you try again.
There’s no dishonour in giving something a go and not getting it right. Trying is much better than not trying.
As Garth Stein says:
There’s no dishonour in losing the race. There is only dishonour in not racing because you are afraid to lose.
