If you don’t take notice of what your thoughts are, your thoughts will do their own thing and they will control you. But when you pay attention to your thoughts, when you notice what you are thinking about, then you can take control and make choices for your thoughts.
Why is this important?
Because thoughts can be empowering or they can be disempowering.
Thoughts are energy. They aren’t solid matter. Just ask any brain surgeon. When they’ve been operating on someone’s brain, have they ever been able to locate a thought? No!
This is because thoughts are energy. And different energies are set at different frequencies. Just as with a radio, you can tune in to different frequencies to connect with different stations. If you want to listen to a station playing classical music, tuning into a news station won’t give you Beethoven.
The same principle applies to our thoughts.
If you want to tune in to and align with abundance and prosperity, then tuning in to the frequency of lack and limitation won’t bring you abundance and prosperity.
You actually do have a choice as to what you think about, what you expose yourself to, and what and whom you surround yourself with. But you can only exercise that choice when you become aware of, and pay attention to, the thoughts that are going through your mind and what you are surrounding yourself with.
So, pay attention to the frequency you are tuning in to, whether it be with your own thoughts, whether it be with whom you are spending time with, or whether it be the TV, radio or social media stories you are exposing yourself to.
Take a few moments throughout the day today to notice your thoughts. Are your thoughts set to frequencies that are expanding or contracting? Are they empowering or disempowering?
If you notice that you are tuning into the negative channels, then simply turn the dial and select a different frequency. Shift your focus onto something else – something that makes you feel alive and expansive.
